Nose

To the nose it has orange segments, late mandarins and figs. In the background there's cotton candy, green almonds and white pepper.

Palate

Dark cherry, plum, spice, leather, menthol and licorice are all amplified in this decidedly potent Chianti Classico.

Harvest

starting late September and going through mid October.

Bottling

Bottled in mid 2023.

Winemaking

Spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts in concrete tanks.

Aging

Aged for two years in concrete tanks to keep the Sangiovese pure and intact.

Appearance

Nice ruby color with classic notes of red.
