Nose
Ripe medlars, mature apricots and peeled almonds fill the glass. In the background delicate and scented white flowers like jasmine and gardenia.
Palate
This wine is heady and explosive. Wild cherry, tobacco, incense, licorice, menthol and dried flowers soar our of the glass.
Growing Conditions
Sangiovese and Colorino grown totally in our 12 Ha field.
Harvest
From late September through mid October 2020.
Bottling
Bottled in January 2023.
Winemaking
Spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts and no control of temperature in concrete tanks.
Aging
Aged one and a half year in 1000 Lt oak barrels.
Appearance
Dark bloody ruby color, it looks juicy and intense.
Food Pairing
Red meat, strong cheese, salame and prosciutto.
