CHIANTI CLASSICO is a tribute to our terroir. This single-variety winefascinates with its easiness and the ripe cherry notes, one of the typical aromas for Sangiovese. In the mouth, a lovely freshness and sapidity combine with young and crisp tannins.

Medium to full body. Lots of fruit and fine tannins.

Vineyards elevation and exposure Castellina in Chianti: loamy; Radda in Chianti: medium textured with rocky skeleton.

Soils Continental climate, with cold winters (temperatures below 0° C) and very hot summers.

Temperature of fermentation 28-30°

Aging

Maturing 12 months 2/3 in stainless steel tanks, 1/3 in concrete tanks

Bottle ageing a few months

Food Pairing

Ideal with: cold cuts, cheese, pasta, poultry and grilled meats of all kinds.

Our favorite: with pizza margherita with mozzarella di Bufala and fresh basil.
