Winemaking

As soon as they are harvested, the best Chianti Classico grapes are destined to become Riserva, a wine with a dark red color verging on maroon. Elegant and velvety, it has notes of spices and red forest fruits on the nose, with an imposing structure.

Mainly Sangiovese with complementary grapes in accordance with regulations.

Aging

Approx. 26 months in 25 hl wooden barrels.

Ideal with Tuscan cured meats and mature cheeses; recommended with roasted or grilled meat, steak and the classic “Fiorentina”
