Nose
Intense, complex and complete.
Palate
Complex, balanced and nicely integrated with a beautiful mix of red and black fruit, earth, spice and fresh herbs. Savory and textured. Very generous, warm and rich with succulent acids and excellent length.
Winemaking
Maceration, alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in stainless steel. Spontaneous natural alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts.
Aging
This wine ages for almost two years in French oak barrels before being bottled and aged for further 12 months on the bottle before release. The longer aging helps the wine to gain structure and longevity.
Food Pairing
Meet dishes (especially steak or stew), pasta, aged cheeses and any festive meal.
