Palate

Concentrated, savory and powerful. Balanced and juicy. A cascade of super-ripe black cherry, plum, leather, licorice, smoke, tobacco and wild herbs. The typical Sangiovese character best-exhibited.

Winemaking

Maceration, alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in stainless steel. Spontaneous natural alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts.

Aging

24 months in french oak tonneaux and subsequently 12 months bottle ageing. The longer aging helps the wine to gain structure and longevity.

Appearance

Bright ruby red.
