Vecchie Terre di Montefili
A brief history
Vecchie Terre di Montefili is a small winery of 12.5 hectares in the heart of Chianti Classico. Established in 1975, the winery passed hands in 2015 to three American friends who brought in our young team, led by winemaker and agronomist Serena Gusmeri. Our vineyards are located at 480 - 500m in altitude in a remarkable place that is overflowing with life. Sangiovese is our focus, but we also grow a small quantity of Cabernet Sauvignon. We believe that each parcel of land is a world in its own, so our wines are a pure expression of vine, site, and ethos.
