Nose

An intense, very typical bouqut, with notes of red fruits.

Palate

Balanced on the palate, with great structure, fresh and savory with silky and enveloping tannins.

Growing Conditions

It is produced with 100% Sangiovese grapes, selected in Piuca vineyard, located at over 600 m above sea level.

Winemaking

Vinified according to traditional methods in cement tanks.

Aging

After twelve months of aging in used tonneaux and at least six months of rest in the bottle it is ready.

Appearance

A ruby color tending towards garnet.

Game dishes, braised and stewed meats, aged cheeses.
