Growing Conditions

Production Area: Chianti Classico

It has been a quite perfect season with a mild Spring with intermittent rain; the temperatures of the Summer were in the average of the season while in August we had two very hot weeks but the temperatures fell down in September. The picked grapes were healthy, with thick skins, high sugar level and good acidity.

Harvest

Sangiovese was harvested from September 27th to October 11th.

20 months, part in barriques and part in tonneaux Bottle ageing: 3 months

Appearance

Intense, brilliant ruby red tone almost violet
